People Asking Me To Help Them Leave
by pale.emperor ini dont know if it's due to the last convention, the recent broadcasts, the internet or just plain fatigue - but since the convention i've had a few people contact me via facebook messenger asking how i am then cutting to the chase asking me what it's like "on the outside" or "how did you adjust after leaving?
" and asking me how they can leave the wt but keep their families.. my reply is always the same, i show real genuine interest and concern and listen to their situation.
then i suggest a fade, how to fade, to ignore or reject elders visits, to not talk about their doubts to active jws under any circumstances and finally point them to this site.

How many faithful old JW`s are now living in Christendoms retirement homes not being cared for by the religion they gave their life for.
by smiddy3 init must be pointed out in favour of christendoms religions that they do not discriminate against people regarding their religious beliefs.
many old age jehovah`s witnesses are residents of christendoms age care homes.. isn`t this a conunudrum ?
they, jw`s condemn christendom as part of the world empire of false religion and they cast off their old faithful members to their enemy christendom , to look after them without lifting a finger themselves.. in the meantime they are raking in millions of dollars $$$$ in selling off real estate properties in new york and elsewhere around the world.

my old dad --jw the last 50+ years...spent his last 3 years in a care home. the staff were truly lovely to him--real carers. i visited every other day-----or every day towards the end. elders visited him for the first year or so--but that tailed off when they knew i was on the scene. his own jw grand daughter--my daughter--age 46-- never visited him once. she lived less than a mile away.
funiest nonsense was a woman jw who came into the home--a mobile hairdresser. she trimmed dads hair--and i paid her....but she never spoke to me. ha ha. took my money though.....

n the Uk there are a lot of JW's who thought they'd be in paradise by now and who are living in Jah-Jireh homes set up by brothers who received not a jot of help from the WTCorp.
Mind you, they generally pay for this care at normal industry rates but at least they can sit in their urine stained chairs chanting "new" kingdom songs while watching Herd flash his Rolex on JWTV.
And probably getting the fees paid by the local authority...tax payers money...even though many paid little or no tax in their lives..whilst pioneering.

When did the Jehovah's Witnesses officially become a "religion"?
by Wild_Thing inmost people know that jehovah's witnesses began as a publishing company promoting a restorationist type christianity.
people who were followers were called bible students.
but when, exactly, did it change from a "movement" to a "religion"?

Side effect of Downsizing......$$$
by Tech49 inso here is a tidbit you will all just love!.
we all are hearing of the trend right now to ¨downsize¨ the congregations...ie... eliminate by combining, in order to blah blah blah... .
here is what you didnt know: every time a congregation is dissolved, for whatever reason, including merging or dispersing, wt makes money!

yep. my late father donated £5000 to his congregation...which no longer exists. so i kissed that bit of my inheritance goodbye.

My unbelieving husband was offended by the WatchTower just studied
by Isambard Crater init was the paragraph talking about people who don't want to be j.w's being executed, and it being an act of compassion from jehovah towards his witnesses..

Could You See A Kingdom Hall Getting Shot Up?
by minimus ini would never want to see that happen but i’m surprised it has not occurred at this point.
there are many disgruntled people who have had bad experiences with the witnesses..

A woman without a voice
by SunnyOne026 inthis is my story in a nut-shell.
i hope some of you can relate.
if you can..i would love to hear from you.. i have been crushed and heartbroken more times than i can recount by a religion that claims to be based totally on love and mercy and most of that harm has come from the so called "shepherds" who or are supposed to lovingly take the stray lambs in their arms and lead them gently back to safety.
